The Uttarakhand (Devbhoomi) Metro project with two lines is a planned Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS) that would link Haridwar, Rishikesh, and Dehradun in the state of Uttarakhand, India.

The Uttarakhand Metro Rail Company Ltd (UkMRC), a special purpose corporation and enterprise of the Uttarakhand government, will implement the project. In December 2016, the Uttarakhand state government and the Delhi Metro Rail Company signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to create a thorough project study.

The Phase 1 project of the Uttarakhand Metro is intended to link Haridwar and Rishikesh. In Phase 2, a new line will link Line-1’s Nepalese Farm to Dehradun’s ISBT. In accordance with the original technical requirements, the line will have standard gauge rails and a 750V DC Third Rail traction system. A substantial portion of the line will probably be at-grade (ground level).

Uttarakhand Metro’s fare structure, prices and rules have not been finalized or announced yet. That will be done closer to the start of commercial operations.
