World Championships 2023 – It’s been over two weeks since the schedule for the ICC ODI World Championships was announced, but ticket information is still missing on the ICC website. Fan frustration is growing as the ICC remains silent about ticket prices and bookings. The Bengal Cricket Association (CAB) was the first to release information on ticket prices, but there is no official information on the ICC website and the rest of the World Cup venues are expected to follow suit.
The ICC has yet to release details of when tickets will go on sale, preventing fans from properly planning their matches and travel plans. As expected, the India-Pakistan blockbuster match is in the spotlight and fans are looking forward to his epic match at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 15th.
World Cup 2023 Tickets: ICC to soon release information on World Cup tickets, hotels booked in India for the showpiece event
The Economic Times reports that tickets for the 2023 ICC World Cup will soon be available online. Cricket enthusiasts and fans around the world can pre-book their tickets on the official ICC Cricket World Cup website. Additionally, tickets will be available for purchase on Bookmyshow, Paytm and Paytm Insiders. Tickets are primarily available online, with limited offline sales.
While there is no clarity on ticket information yet, the hotels in India are booked during the ICC ODI World Cup. The showpiece event will be played across 10 venues in India, and fans have made room bookings for India vs Pakistan match. Also, there are bookings and enquiries in other venues like Pune, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Kolkata.
โHotels in Ahmedabad are already booked for dates in India and Pakistan. Inquiries and bookings for hotels in Pune, Bangalore, Mumbai and Kolkata will also open. โMost hotels in these cities are expected to be fully booked on match days,โ Kevin Ashley Martis, general manager of marketing (West Indies), told Money Control.
The World Cup will open on 5 October with last year’s finalists England and New Zealand in Ahmedabad. India kick off their campaign with a match against Australia in Chennai on 8 October.
