Tickets for the 2023 ICC ODI World Cup go on sale today
The schedule for the ICC ODI World Cup was announced over two weeks ago, but there is still no information on ticket sales on the ICC official website. This lack of transparency has led to growing frustration among fans. The Bengal Cricket Association (CAB) took the lead and announced ticket prices without formal communication from the ICC. Other World Cup venues are taking a similar approach, apparently announcing ticket details on their own.
Fans are struggling to properly plan their matches and make travel arrangements as the ICC remains silent on ticket sales. Unsurprisingly, the highly anticipated India-Pakistan match, which takes place at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 15 October, is of great interest to fans wanting to witness this epic clash.
The Economic Times reports that online ticket sales for the 2023 ICC World Cup will begin soon. Cricket fans and enthusiasts around the world will have the opportunity to pre-book their tickets through the official website of the ICC Cricket World Cup. Additionally, tickets will be available for purchase on popular platforms such as Bookmyshow, Paytm and Paytm Insiders. The majority of ticket sales will be online, with limited offline purchases expected.
