Kargil War Memorial Pondicherry Ticket 2023
The Kargil War Memorial was erected by the Indian Army to commemorate the soldiers who fought in the terrible and unforgettable Kargil War. It is located opposite Secretariat at the northern end of the main beach in Pondicherry. The marble slab of the main memorial bears the inscription ‘Indian Government War Memorial’, topped by a rifle and a soldier’s cap. There are many stone pillars of various lengths around the monument.
